A skin remodelling treatment

Skin boosters are essentially products that revitalise the skin, improving its appearance and texture whilst slowing down the ageing process from within. We have carefully selected 3 of the market leading skin boosters which we feel offer great results.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES

What are POLYNUCLEOTIDES?

Polynucleotides are highly-purified DNA molecules extracted from fish. When they are injected into the skin, they reach the cells called fibroblasts. These cells are responsible for the formation of connective tissue through their ability to produce collagen, which helps maintain the skin’s firm structure. As we age, collagen production declines, which is why our skin gets saggy and more wrinkled.

Polynucleotides are therefore DNA fragments derived from natural sources, carefully formulated to stimulate collagen production, boost cellular repair, and promote skin regeneration. These tiny powerhouses penetrate deep into your skin, jump-starting the rejuvenation process and restoring your complexion’s vitality from within.

What do POLYNUCLEOTIDES treat?

● Dull skin

● Wrinkles

● Uneven Pigmentation

● Redness

● Dark circles

How are POLYNUCLEOTIDES different to other skin boosters?

What sets polynucleotides apart is their ability to accelerate the skin’s healing process, helping to minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage. They also improve skin texture, elasticity, and overall firmness, leaving you with a rejuvenated and radiant complexion.

Another notable benefit of injecting polynucleotides is their capacity to improve skin hydration and moisture retention. These molecules have an inherent moisturizing effect, replenishing the skin’s natural hydration levels and combating dryness and dullness. The result is a plumper, more supple skin texture that exudes a vibrant, healthy glow.

A course of three treatments 3 to 4 weeks apart is recommended to achieve optimum results.

The results are not instant but improvement can be noted from about three weeks and continues to improve over a twelve week period. Results will vary between individuals as the outcome is dependent upon the biological response of the individual and also lifestyle factors. Longevity does vary between individuals. Polynucleotides do not arrest the ageing process, therefore a maintenance treatment is recommended every six months.

BELOTERO REVIVE

 What is BELOTERO Revive?

BELOTERO® Revive is a next-generation, injectable hyaluronic acid, skin booster designed to rejuvenate the quality of skin and revitalise the early signs of sun damage. BELOTERO® Revive is a useful early intervention treatment that offers a natural looking and enhanced skin.

BELOTERO Revive contains hyaluronic acid and glycerol. Together, these moisture-attracting ingredients revitalise sun damaged skin by improving hydration, elasticity and firmness, smoothing superficial fine lines and reducing skin roughness, for a more radiant look. With no filter.

What does BELOTERO Revive treat?

● Dehydrated skin

● Loss of elasticity and firmness

● Uneven Pigmentation

● Presence of superficial fine lines

How is BELOTERO Revive different to other skin boosters?
BELOTERO Revive unlike most other skin boosters is indicated to revitalise the signs of early onset sun damage, which accounts for approximately 90% of external ageing. As well as this, BELOTERO Revive also contains an additional ingredient of glycerol, one of the most hydrating substances in the polyalcohol family. This means it creates a lasting moisturising effect, as it promotes water absorption within the skin, resulting in increased hydration, smoothness, elasticity and firmness.

To achieve the best long-lasting results, three treatments are required with a four-week interval. Some people may see the results within the first week, but the best outcomes of the treatment will be visible four weeks after the third treatment.

PROFHILO

 What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is the first BDDE-free stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity. With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg/2ml) it not only boosts and hydrates the skin but also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue. This results in a luminous, soft, airbrushed glow and natural look.

What does Profhilo treat?

Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also effectively be used for rejuvenating the neck, decollete, arms, knees and hands. Profhilo delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetics treatments currently on offer.

How is Profhilo different to other skin boosters?
As a stabilised product Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA. The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore it is more than simply a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening/lifting effect on the tissue as well. Profhilo doesn’t need to be massaged and leaves no nodules. Due to its high spreadability, only five injection points on each side of the face are needed, which means patients find the treatment much more comfortable.

To achieve the best long-lasting results, two treatments are required with a four-week interval. Some people may see the results within the first week, but the best outcomes of the treatment will be visible four weeks after the second treatment.
