Overview …
Profhilo® is a skin remodelling treatment designed to improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality. It uses a highly concentrated form of stabilised hyaluronic acid to work within the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production while delivering deep, long-lasting hydration.
Rather than adding volume or altering facial shape, Profhilo® focuses on the condition of the skin itself. It helps to strengthen the dermal structure, improve firmness and restore a smoother, more radiant appearance. This makes it particularly effective for areas where the skin is beginning to show signs of ageing, such as fine lines, laxity and loss of elasticity.
The treatment is delivered through a series of precisely placed injections, allowing the product to disperse and integrate within the skin. Over time, this leads to improved texture, enhanced hydration and a more youthful, healthy-looking finish.
Profhilo® and Profhilo® Structura sit within the same treatment family, with Profhilo® improving skin quality through dermal remodelling, and Structura designed to restore deeper structural support and facial contour. Explore Profhilo® Structura here >>

Profhilo® at Mirabel
At Mirabel Clinic, Profhilo® is used as a skin-focused injectable treatment to improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality. It is not used to add volume or reshape the face, but to support the skin’s underlying function and appearance.
The treatment is delivered using a series of precisely placed injection points, allowing the product to disperse evenly across the skin. A course of treatment is typically recommended, with sessions spaced to support progressive improvement.
What concerns can Profhilo® treat?
Profhilo® is used where the focus is on improving skin quality rather than structure.
This includes:
• Dehydrated or dull skin
• Fine lines and early signs of ageing
• Reduced skin elasticity
• Crepey or thinning skin
• General loss of skin freshness and resilience
It is commonly used on the face, neck and décolletage.
How is Profhilo® different from Profhilo® Structura?
Profhilo® focuses on improving skin quality by increasing hydration and stimulating collagen within the dermis. Profhilo® Structura works at a deeper level, targeting the subcutaneous layer to support facial structure and contour. One improves the skin itself, while the other supports the underlying shape of the face.
What does the treatment feel like?
Profhilo® is delivered through a small number of carefully placed injections. You may feel a brief sharp scratch or stinging sensation as the product is placed into the skin. The treatment is usually well tolerated, although some areas can feel more sensitive than others.
Small raised bumps may be visible at the injection points immediately afterwards. These usually settle as the product disperses within the skin. Mild redness, tenderness or bruising can also occur, but this is generally temporary.
What results can be expected?
Results develop gradually as the skin responds to increased hydration and stimulation of collagen and elastin.
Early improvements are often seen in skin hydration and texture, with further enhancement in elasticity and overall skin quality over time. The outcome is subtle and natural, with skin appearing fresher, smoother and more resilient.
Treatment planning and safety
Profhilo® is selected following a detailed consultation to ensure suitability. It is often used as part of a broader skin health strategy, either on its own or alongside other treatments.
Treatment timing, frequency and maintenance are tailored to the individual, with aftercare guidance provided to support optimal results.
Contraindications and suitability
Profhilo® treatment may not be suitable in certain circumstances. A full consultation is required to assess individual suitability before proceeding.
Treatment is typically deferred if:
• There is active infection, inflammation or cold sores in the treatment area
• There is a history of severe allergic reactions to dermal fillers or their components
Additional caution may be required if:
• You have certain autoimmune or systemic conditions
• You are taking medications that affect healing or bleeding
• You have had previous filler treatments that require assessment
At Mirabel, all treatments are carried out within a medical framework, with patient safety and appropriate treatment selection as a priority. Where treatment is not suitable, alternative options or timing may be discussed.
