Overview …

Profhilo® Structura is a regenerative injectable treatment developed to support facial structure and restore natural contour. It works differently from traditional dermal fillers and skin boosters by targeting the superficial fat layers that play a key role in facial shape and support.

As the face ages, these fat compartments can shift, reduce and lose definition, leading to flattening through the cheeks, softening of facial angles and a general sense of tissue descent. Profhilo® Structura is designed to address these changes by helping to regenerate and reposition superficial fat, restoring support where it has been lost.

This approach allows for a more lifted, contoured and balanced appearance without creating projection or volume in the way that fillers do. The outcome is subtle and structural, supporting the natural architecture of the face rather than altering it.

Profhilo® and Profhilo® Structura sit within the same treatment family, with Profhilo® improving skin quality through dermal remodelling, and Structura designed to restore deeper structural support and facial contour. Explore Profhilo® here >>

At Mirabel Clinic, Profhilo® Structura is used where there is a need to support deeper facial structure while maintaining a natural appearance. It works within the superficial fat layers to help reposition and support tissue, rather than simply improving surface hydration.

Treatment is delivered using carefully placed injections, with technique and placement guided by facial anatomy and the areas requiring support. A course of treatment may be recommended depending on the level of change required.

Profhilo® Structura is used for concerns linked to early structural change within the face.

This includes:
• Loss of facial support or subtle volume displacement
• Softening of facial contours
• Early jowl formation
• Mid-face flattening or reduced definition
• Skin quality concerns where deeper support is also required

It is particularly suited to patients who are not seeking traditional volumising fillers but would benefit from structural support.

Profhilo® focuses on improving skin quality by increasing hydration and stimulating collagen within the dermis. Profhilo® Structura works at a deeper level, targeting the subcutaneous layer to support facial structure and contour. One improves the skin itself, while the other supports the underlying shape of the face.

The treatment involves a series of injections placed at specific structural points. Sensation is generally well tolerated, with most patients experiencing mild discomfort or pressure during injection.

As with other injectable treatments, there may be temporary swelling, tenderness or bruising following treatment, which typically settles within a few days.

The treatment is designed to create a more lifted and naturally contoured appearance. Improvements are seen in facial definition, particularly through the mid-face and cheek area, with a reduction in the appearance of hollows and soft tissue descent. Results develop progressively as the tissue responds and regenerates.

Profhilo® Structura treatment may not be suitable in certain circumstances. A full consultation is required to assess individual suitability before proceeding.

Treatment is typically deferred if:
• There is active infection, inflammation or cold sores in the treatment area
• There is a history of severe allergic reactions to dermal fillers or their components

Additional caution may be required if:
• You have certain autoimmune or systemic conditions
• You are taking medications that affect healing or bleeding
• You have had previous filler treatments that require assessment

At Mirabel, all treatments are carried out within a medical framework, with patient safety and appropriate treatment selection as a priority. Where treatment is not suitable, alternative options or timing may be discussed.
