Observ® Skin Analysis is a non-invasive imaging appointment that allows your practitioner to assess your skin in greater detail than is possible through visual examination alone.
Using a series of specialist light modes, the system captures different aspects of the skin, from surface texture and visible redness to pigmentation, vascular change and signs of sun exposure. This gives a more complete picture of your skin health and helps explain why certain concerns may be appearing.
At Mirabel, the images are used to support a more informed consultation. They can help guide skincare advice, treatment planning and future reviews, giving both you and your practitioner a clear point of reference as your skin changes over time.

Observ® Skin Analysis at Mirabel
Observ® Skin Analysis gives a more detailed view of your skin, helping to reveal concerns that may not be visible in ordinary daylight. This can include sun damage, pigmentation, vascular changes and early signs of ageing.
At Mirabel, Observ® is used to support a more accurate understanding of your skin and to create a photographic benchmark that can be referred back to at future appointments.
What happens during an appointment?
Ideally you will arrive at your appointment with clean skin, no make up or SPF.
Your skin is photographed using the Observ® 520x system, allowing your practitioner to assess different aspects of your skin in greater detail.
The images help guide your consultation, support treatment or skincare recommendations and provide a useful record for tracking progress over time. A report is emailed to you after the appointment.
Is Observ® Skin Analysis painful?
No, it is completely non-invasive. There are no needles, no anaesthetic and no downtime.
What is an Observ® Treatment Review?
The Treatment Review is for clients who have already had an Observ® Skin Analysis and would like a follow-up session to review progress or improvement.
It is a shorter appointment, designed to compare changes and help assess how your skin is responding over time.
Is Observ® included with patch tests?
Yes. VBeam, IPL and ResurFX patch test appointments will now include an Observ® skin analysis session.
These appointments are 45 minutes, cost £75 and include an emailed report.
