Overview …
The ZO® Stimulator Peel is a superficial chemical peel that uses a combination of lactic, citric and glycolic acids to loosen and remove dead cells from the surface of the skin.
This controlled exfoliation can improve the appearance of uneven texture and tone, while leaving the skin feeling softer and smoother. The treatment also contains ingredients selected to help calm and soothe the skin.
It is intended as a general skin-refreshing treatment rather than a peel for one specific concern. It may be particularly suitable for skin that looks lacklustre, feels rough or would benefit from regular professional exfoliation.

ZO® Stimulator Peel at Mirabel
The ZO® Stimulator Peel uses a combination of exfoliating acids, including:
• Lactic acid – to gently loosen and remove dull surface cells
• Glycolic acid – to support smoother-looking texture
• Citric acid – to help refresh the appearance of uneven tone
These ingredients work together at the surface of the skin to provide controlled exfoliation without the intensity of a deeper peel.
This approach makes the treatment well suited to general brightening and skin maintenance, helping to leave the complexion looking fresher, smoother and more radiant with little or no downtime.
How ZO® Stimulator Peel works
ZO® Stimulator Peel works by applying a carefully balanced blend of exfoliating acids to the surface of the skin, where they help loosen and remove accumulated dead skin cells.
This involves:
• Breaking down the bonds between surface cells
• Encouraging a more even pattern of skin renewal
• Refining the appearance of texture and tone
Because the treatment works superficially, it provides effective exfoliation without the intensity of a deeper peel.
What can be treated
The ZO® Stimulator Peel may be appropriate for:
• Dull or lacklustre skin
• Rough or uneven texture
• Uneven-looking tone
• Mild surface congestion
• Skin in need of general maintenance before an occasion
It is a general resurfacing treatment rather than a peel designed to address a specific or advanced skin condition.
What to expect
Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before the peel is applied. You may experience mild tingling, warmth or prickling while the solution is on the skin. It is then neutralised and suitable finishing products are applied.
No anaesthetic is required and significant visible peeling is not normally expected. The skin may appear slightly pink or feel warm, tight or sensitive for a short time afterwards.
You will be advised when to resume active skincare products and should use broad-spectrum sun protection following treatment.
